  1. gree aircon is not good. my split-type unit was bought and installed in March 2017 and its always malfunction, not cooling. for more than 2 years had it repaired 3 times. VERY BAD QUALITY, not recommend this brand

  3. > Purchased and installed my split-type unit in Dec. 2016 and March 2017, respectively.
    > In less than 1 year in January 2018, the aircon was not cooling so it had cleaned with 1k feeand refilled with freon for FREE because it still covered by warranty.
    > 10 months after, in October 2018, the unit was not cooling again so had it refilled with freon again with my friend technician this time because the service center said it is not covered by warranty anymore.
    >8 months after, end of May 2019, the unit was not cooling again so had it refilled with freon with my friend technician again
    > And now June 2019, only 1 month after, my unit is not cooling again. WHAT KIND OF BRAND IS THIS GREE!!!!
    I HATE THIS BRAND
    This is my 3rd split-type aircon. My first one id CARRIER which i bough in 2010 and the 2nd is panasonic i bought in 2011. Until now these 2 units never had malfunction and still in good condition for 9 and 8 years now.
    BUT THIS GREE BRAND, I REALLY HATE.

    From here (January 2018), the Gree Technician should have check the cause/problem of the unit while it is under warranty, instead of just refilling the freon. They should know why there is a need to refill the freon for a unit which is use for less than a year!!! So stupid this technician and company!!! And now you are telling me that it not covered by warranty anymore.
    After a series of my observations and malfunction encounters you are telling me it’s not covered by warranty anymore.
